At St. Matthew we offer a number of different ways that you can make a difference in our congregation, in our community, and around the world!  Here's a few ways that you can connect with an opportunity to make a difference and love people in the way Jesus asks us:

Second Saturday

Second Saturdays are opportunities for individuals and/or families to experience the joy of serving together in activity that benefits others.  These events will occur on either one of our campuses or in the community where there is a need.  See the Weekly Messenger for more information.  Second Saturdays are typically scheduled from 10am-12pm.  

March -Helping Haiti

Come to the Walled Lake campus on March 13th and support Lutheran World Relief (LWR) and Andrea Romelus (former Hearts & Hands) teacher in helping those in need in Haiti.  You will have the chance to assemble hygiene kits, school kit supplies, make bracelets that share Jesus' love, and create cards for orphans and children.  Click here for information on projects and donation needs.

Mission Trips

Two Mission trips are scheduled for this summer.  One trip will be an eye glass clinic in Ecuador and the other will be a construction trip to Biloxi MI.  Watch this page for further details.
