Along with countless millions, we have been captivated by "the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" in the Olympics. One thing that strikes me is that these finely tuned athletes train to have their peak performance at the Olympics. They strive to achieve their personal best at the right time.

It seems to me that in a similar way, God is calling me/us to personal best life in the year to come. Whatever our past "track record"...and no matter what kind of spiritual shape that we might be in, how about if we long for, pray for, strive for a personal best this coming school year in serving God and others!
