God has led Pastor Rob Nelson to accept the Divine Call to join our team as Associate Pastor at our Wixom campus. At this point we are working out the details of his installation/start date. His wife is Nicki. They have two boys, Gus and Felix. Here is what he writes:

Dear Members of St. Matthew Lutheran Church,

I am excited to announce my acceptance of your call as Associate Pastor at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Months before you had even heard my name, I had heard the name of “St. Matthew” often. It seems my family’s experience in Japan has repeatedly brought me into contact with St. Matthew. Now, God in His timing and His mysterious ways has decided to send me to partner with you in ministry to each other, to Japanese people, to Internationals, to Wixom, to Walled Lake and the World. What an awesome task for us to take on together!

I look forward to meeting you all and hearing the wonderful stories of how God has worked through your service for Him.
